I absolutely loved the decoration of the hotel. It had a perfect blend of modern and traditional furniture, which created a cozy and beautiful ambiance. The sweeping staircase in the villa was a stunning piece of art that added a touch of elegance to the place. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The children working there were always ready to assist me and made sure I had a comfortable stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, I would suggest having handrails installed along the staircase. This would provide extra support and ensure the safety of senior guests.

Upon arrival at Villa Aurora, we were immediately captivated by the beautiful heritage building. The combination of modern and traditional furniture, along with the stunning artwork, created a truly enchanting atmosphere. The highlight for us was the sweeping staircase, which added an air of elegance to the villa. We were warmly welcomed by Nalin, the house manager, who escorted us to our room with a rooftop terrace overlooking the lighthouse and offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Throughout our stay, Nalin provided us with outstanding care and attention. The breakfast served was plentiful, and we particularly enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan options. Nalin went above and beyond by arranging a trip to Koggala Lake and accompanying us to the Martin Wickramasinghe Folk museum, both of which were enriching experiences. Our time at Villa Aurora was truly unforgettable, and meeting Nalin made it all the more special. We are immensely grateful for the remarkable memories created during our stay.

The hotel had an amazing breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the lighthouse and other key landmarks. The staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. They even provided beach towels which was a nice touch.
The hotel was a bit difficult to find at first, as it was not very well marked from the outside. the rooms were a bit on the small side and could use some updating in terms of décor.

I must say, the decoration of the villa was absolutely delightful. It had such a charming and cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the villa were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the villa to be quite convenient. There were no steep stairs or long hallways to contend with, which was a relief. It was a comfortable and accessible stay for someone like me.
If I had to ask for one thing that would have made my vacation even better as a senior woman, it would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive to the needs of older guests. Perhaps a little more assistance with carrying luggage or providing a helping hand when navigating the nearby areas would have been appreciated.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this charming hotel in Galle. The manager of the hotel was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He treated me like his own personal guest, providing me with exceptional service throughout my stay.
The only thing I would have asked for to make this vacation even better for senior people is the presence of comfortable seating on the rooftop terrace. As a senior woman, I appreciate having a cozy spot to sit and enjoy the stunning views.

This hotel had a great location, only a short walk away from shops and restaurants. the breakfast was tasty and included a variety of options. the rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Some of the rooms were smaller than expected and not as luxurious as pictured in the website. the hotel lacked some basic amenities such as a hairdryer and room table which could have made the stay more comfortable.
